Memories of the Wind.

Got to my second dae of work todae and everything is goin on fine except for a one or two minor blips. Haha it is a vast improvement as contrasted to the first dae where i bungled on several occasions. Hmmm at least i can see that the number of errors that i made should be decreasing at a rapid expotential rate. Hahaha, hopefully it would not become a sine curve instead. And something worth a note of mention is the praises i got from my colleagues. Yeah! ! Even big boss said that she was very impressed wif me after a short questionaire to test me on my service skills as a cashier. Yepxx, crapping is my talent.

A short note on my friendly colleagues. They would be happy to serve you if u ever go SPC Queensway. We are the friendly neighbourhood service station staff!! =)

The list goes in order of their seniority. At least from wat i see. . la lala lalala

1. Big Boss

Oh i dunnoe her name at all. Onli saw her todae. Hee. . She seems quite friendly la, and also rides on a wave of confidence. 30+?? i tink soo. haha heard her mention to a station manager of another spc kiosk that someone mentioned to her that she looks like Zoe Tay. ER.... dun tink so la. but she dun look bad.

2. Station manager

His name is Alvin. Hey he may be not as tall as his average counterparts, but he packs a punch. Can be friendly to his staff, but he is very clear about drawing the line. Very unassuming and assertive in delivering his duties. Think he is one of the youngest as compared to the other station managers who came down to our outlet todae for a trainin session. Haa and he is the spc new face of the year. dunno wat that implies oso la?

3. Assistant station manager

She is Lillian and she is perhaps the most experienced of all the staff judging from her grey hair. NO OFFENCE tho, she is really very nice and understanding to her staff and she got a knack for remembering details. During my first round of interview, i told her the days and the hours tat i would be able to work. Haha, when i was about to leave tat dae, i needed to confirm wif her when and which dae i would be workin exactly as i got STM. woa she remembered all. And this wasnt a one-off incident. She displayed her amazing memory again. She could remember exactly the number of packs of cigarettes being sold yesterdae and for each individual brand and type too. Awesome!!!

4. Assistant shift manager

Named Serene, she is one meticulous person. She is adept at handlin all the minute details and she is considered my mentor. Haha she taught me the most and i was praised by her for being a fast learner. Haha at the rate i am goin, watever scarce humility that's left of me would be gone like the wind. Anyway, i observed that she got quite a short temper. She can get quite exasperated when teaching me stuff. haha

5. Assistant shift manager

She's Linda. She's easy goin and i find it very comfortable to strike a conversation with her. She has 3 sons, pri 3, pri 1 and 3 years old. Hmmm. . she's lookin for a tutor for her sons, and it appears she's quite ok wif me to teach her sons. Great! another source of income..


Haahaha. there's still many more but this is a few first lor. tired to write about so many too, and the others i didnt have a chance to talk or work wif dem for long. Hehe. . ok ending off soon. . Goin later to UAN (United Artiste Network) for a face to face evaluation. Another source of income???
