Be content with wat u have
One has to be contented with wat he or she has. .
Very often, u hear pple striving to climb up the corporate ladder, pursuing lavish stuff, driving flashing cars, getting hold of all the riches in the world.
First, u started out as a beggar. U got a tin that earns u not much, not less. U r comfortable wif it but one dae, u realised that u earned much more than u spent. "Yes" u say to urself, i should save it for a rainy dae.
So u had a stable income and a stable bank account. After some time, u decided to get a bigger tin. U believe it can earn u more money. Haa, and a wise investment it seems. Ur profit doubled. ITs rakin in the money. U shouted, "Big Money, Big Money' , inspired by the tv show that the house opp the street where u held ur daily business blared.
Fatter profits proportional to ur body now. U decided its time to make it big. U started a begging business called "Begging Pte Ltd" A prosperous name and u had 3 workers under u. one's ur secretary, one's ur accountant and the other ur assistant. U still begged personally but wif ur assistant now and despite it being hard work, u adored the satisfaction that that u derived from ur job. its not juz a job, it is passion encompassed wif ur ideals. so far so good. (u neva realise the white hairs spoutin from beneath ur scalp).
ahh.. turnovers r good! Fat bonuses dished out to ur workers, keepin them smiling all the way to the bank. Hmmm... Time to make it even bigger..
5 years down the road, and u r successful, drivin a porsche to keep up ur status.. Money literally spinning. U throw away the old tin that has been wif u throughout the years, forgetting the nostalgia that has kept the rusty tin with u during your testing period. In place is a gold plated tin beffiting of ur status. U stand on the 24th storey of ur grand office, declaring to make beggin
(ps: continue dis boring story another time, gotta drive in the issue of being contented here)
