Chores are no longer chores!

Did window cleaning and washing of bedsheets todae morning and completed it by 1030am. Hahaha. Gettin more and more adept and efficient in such mundane household chores. Accustomed to such a routine, i got into my thinkin mechanism again. My dark humour conjures up the plausible wonders that some typical household chores can do to the body and spiritual self and here i am goin to share wif everyone. . When u have tested and tried it out, and found it really beneficial, spread it around. Hahahaha.

1st. Sweeping the floor.

When u sweep the floor, remember to use a broom that allows u to straighten ur back comfortably. If it's too short for ur liking, better get a new one. Sweeping actually improves ur dexterity and adroitness in ur hands. And if done correctly, it helps to improve ur upper body co-ordination with ur waist. Trust me, i am in the hocky team durin jc.

2nd. Mopping the floor.

Done best if u kneel down and use a cloth instead. Potential side effects would be strainin of the back too. Take care not to exert too much force. Use appropriate force and let the floor absorb the impact of ur force. In doin so, u would be shifting 30% of ur centre of gravity to ur hands and that would be enuf to make the floor clean. So wat benefits would it bring? U r trainin ur hands to take the partial weight of ur body and when maneuvering from one place to another, u would be training ur quadriceps too. Great work out.

3rd. Doing the dishes.

Hmmm. . Wat benefit can it do to the body u would ask? It is not gruelling and physical about it. Haa, but doin the dishes has its wonders. Lemme enlighten everyone. Doing the dishes means takin up responsiblilty when the fun in eating is over. Hahaha who likes to stay around when gluttony me has been satisfied. But when u are willin to do the dishes, u are makin a sacrifice and understand the need to be there to wash up the mess. This shows a person's character in adversity too. And a person washing the dishes cannot afford to have a concentration lapse. He or she must be meticulous and take care not to smash the dishes. Hahaha true? This naturally trains a person to be attentive to detail and willin to take up responsibility. And this trait can actually be trained by such a inconspicuous task. So next time, offer to do the dishes!!

4th. Washing clothes and bedsheets.

When i am talkin about washin of clothes here, i dun mean the convenient machine that churns when u have the absolute simplicity and luxury of juz pressing a few buttons here and there. I am talking about manual washing. Washing clothes require endurance. When washing clothes, adopt a squatting postion with ur back straightened. Remember, it is always important to keep ur back straight when performing chores to minimise any potential hurt u can cause to ur back. this trains ur quadriceps. This trains isometric contraction of the quad muscle and it helps to develop static strength - the strength you need to push or pull a heavy object or hold it up. Ur hand also does work when lifting the clothes up, especially bedsheets, which are much heavier. This contracts ur hand muscles concentrically and isotonically and trains muscular strength in ur arms. However, use ur abs to assist u in lifting the clothes up so as not to strain ur back muscles. This also tightens the upper abdominal muscles and give u a more toned body in time to come.

5th. Ironing clothes.

Ironing clothes do not really have any physical benefits juz like watching tv or yakkin away on the phone. But it works wonders psychologically. When u wear clothes free of creases and ironed by urself, u would have a sense of satisfaction. Cool. . U feel confident and easier to relate and communicate with other people. The world is made for u! U would tell urself.



Haaaaa.. . . . . feelin not realli happy but still laughin my head off anyway. throbbing headache. too much household chores?? No la. HOPE anyone who read this would find from my post the extra motivation to do household chores. Listed above is only 5 normal chores.
