唉。
*叹口气* *继续叹口气* 这里的空间似乎变得有点陌生。
何止陌生，
感觉像是魔术师临时上场，忘记带最拿手的扑克牌。

但是，
这个星期五晚上，我有你们相陪。*笑*
所以，有着熟悉的你们，还好啦！
哈哈！
毕竟，魔术师电死人的，不只是扑克牌而已。

我现在在没开灯，昏暗的房间里.
不是因为要让自己感性一点，而是因为简单有力的理由
-灯坏了。 。
耳机里的情歌充斥着我的心。
幽美的句子，扣人心弦的旋律。
我的世界被莫名其妙的悲伤占据。
梁静茹，周杰伦，张惠妹，范玮琦，S.H.E一首首的情歌还真令我感触良多，
尤其是现在听着的〈听海〉。
这首歌都跟我肩并肩度过了十年。
十年一晃就晃过了。怎么时间就这么不知觉的溜走了呢？？
不知觉的，
溜走了。。
人越老，回忆起来的东西就越多。
也发觉，
美丽的回忆里，
最珍惜的不是回忆里的欢笑和快乐，
而是，
陪你一起度过快乐时光的人。
。。
只是，
人依旧在。
欢笑快乐已不在。
即使回忆的碎片能找回来，它也只是会慢慢地消逝在遗憾的风里。
而今晚就吹着遗憾的风。

觉得如果这样就划下句点，留下的是更多遗憾。
人只要还有一口气在，就应该更努力地珍惜和保护自己相信的东西。
虽然知道努力不一定能换来幸福，
但努力过也是一种幸福。
因为不是没一个人能为自己热衷和坚信的东西付出汗水的。

透明的，清澈的。
没有色泽。
。。。
但是，
人们为了迎合自己的口味，
水就变成了咖啡，茶，汤，甚至许许多多不同的饮料。
。。。
于是，
爱情，对不同的人来说，
都有不同的定义， 不同的味道。
。。。
于是，
幸福， 对不同的人来说，
都有截然不同的面貌， 截然不同的韵味。
。。。
尽管如此，
如果你嗅到幸福的话，
它往东边招手，你就不应该往西边晃了。

我们都应该给我们爱的人一次幸福的机会，勇敢地去爱吧！
一年前，我参加了专门为大学新生而设的迎新会。那是Nus Csc 举办的 Ethelonter 5.
我们出了一题爱情大考验。
“你会选择被爱或爱人？”
多数的人选择被爱。
隐隐约约我觉得大家的答案有一点矛盾。如果每个人都选择被爱的话，那谁来爱他们？
被爱被爱，听起来就觉得像是悲哀。
呵。
所以嘛，
我则选择爱人。

幸亏爱吃鬼跟我一样，都选择了爱人。
我们彼此爱着对方，所以我们也因此被爱。
^^
一段感情会变质，所以选择被爱的人总是会害怕失去爱她的人。
至少我觉得真正爱一个人，就不会因为爱的人不爱自己而停止爱她。
爱一个人，不管对方是否爱你，他的幸福总是在第一位。
所以选择爱人就不会有那么多顾虑了。

眼看着我哥哥与准大嫂即将踏上红地毯，长达10年的爱情长跑终于要进入更甜蜜的阶段，我真的很为他们高兴。我衷心的祝福他们，希望他们能白头到老，携手打造属于自己的幸福。
然而，他的弟弟至今的恋爱经验还是零。说起来还真的觉得有一点沮丧哦。
哈哈。
其实，我仍然有一个我很喜欢的她。当我知道她觉得我们不可能的时候，我决定扼杀自己对她的这份情。这一年来，我从爱与喜欢的夹缝中穿梭来回，重复练习不爱她。现在，总算觉得自己对她的爱已升华到更特别的情感。
比爱更爱的喜欢。
像橘子说的，不爱也是一种爱。=)
呵。。
虽然我不是你的真命天子，但是我铁定是你的专属奶妈妈。
你的专属奶妈妈。。。
。。。
唔觉得幸福这两个字，胜过千言万语。
所以。。
嗯。。
不想要再多说什么，只想说。。

I gasped as I looked at the time now and I wondered what is keeping me from bed. No pelting rain, just a little breeze coming in from the window. Perhaps it were the tiny thoughts growing in my tiny brain that are swimming freely like little fishes.
Read Xiqian's blog post on young love and I feel it apt to mention this little line that he quoted.
"Antoine de Daint-Exupery, the author of 'The little Prince', once wrote "Love is not two person gazing at each other, but two people looking ahead together in the same direction." "

Life's purest moments of love is the unspoken promise that holding hands, hold.
Hope that the many "two people" in the world, find their direction and walk together in bliss. It is not easy to really love the person who is standing next to you. Treasure your love, and it will be reciprocal. =)

Question: Love. Do we really need to give ourselves a reason, before we love?
....
I cannot answer that myself.. Sigh. Sometimes, the paths of 2 converge to become 1 common path. Yet at the near end, it diverges to become 2 solo paths, and answers become questions again. Things go round. In a loop, in a circle. In a deviously planned manner, people get crossed in love, fall out of it, or get rejected.
It happens all the time, all this while, so much so that they start to be afraid of love.
However, despite what happens, I hope that everyone do not give up the courage to love and keep on believing in true love.

Friday nite is the mood for love.
Life.. goes on.. after a breakup.
Not that it resumes normal immediately, because all wounds require time to heal. Just like a normal wound, it is always most painful at the start. The wound might even swell. But time, time heals it all.
It is especially hard to renegotiate your new identity-single hood, and reassess entirely what love really is. However, love is not just about love between a couple. Love intertwines more than just 2 person's lives together. In fact, it encompasses a lot more..
Love is also.. being by a friend's side when he or she is down, and giving her the support and care she needs.
Therefore, life goes on, because friends will always be there to provide you with tender loving care and ultimately, be a guiding light in this dark road ahead.
Like what I wrote before in an sms, "朋友会陪你走出这彷徨的街。"
....
I just hope that Fish Leong's song, 《分手快乐》, will apply to every brokenhearted couple turned single.
真的真的，分手后，其实还可以找到真正属于自己的快乐。
毕竟，每片乌云过后，都是一道温暖着人心的彩虹。

失而复得。。并不容易。
人都有一个怪毛病。
他们只有在失去，
才会了解到拥有的可贵。

I have to concede that I am a lucky chap. I lost my wallet twice in the toilet before and yet I always find it lying where I left it in the first place. It was folly but I was lucky.
Today, at the mrt, I almost lost 2 library books, "不能说的秘密 and "幸福，不见不散". I was taking the last train home from lakeside after talking ~rubbish~ with da bian. I thought I was very alert to make sure da bian took back her 2 books but I clean forgot about mine and I left it on the station seat.
I only realised my carelessness after I reached jurong east mrt. Despite knowing I have no more pasir ris bound train left, I alighted and took the boon lay bound train with the hope that I can find the 2 books. Lady luck was smiling. They were still lying there when I got back to lakeside.
At least, 幸福，不见不散..
You only feel regret when someone or something passed u by after it has first said hello to you.
I hope we seldom say, 幸福，我慢了半拍．
Therefore, always treasure what you have and the people around you. Never take things for granted because things can change in a split second. No one can turn back clock.

I got a feeling I blogged something similar. Well, no matter how similar it may be to any previous post, a fact always remains as one. The harder it is to achieve or get something you want, the sweeter and more satisfactory it will be. Before I start writing, I guess I need a broom. A broom to sweep off the dust on this blog, a broom to sweep the cobwebs off all my untouched notes lying somewhere around the corner... and a broom to sweep off the messes lying beneath my dormant emotions.

I got a feeling I blogged something similar. Well, no matter how similar it may be to any previous post, a fact always remains as one. The harder it is to achieve or get something you want, the sweeter and more satisfactory it will be. Friday nite is the mood for love.
Love is a dish full of unexpected surprises, served with both familiar and distinct flavours.
Sometimes, we simply adore one dish at a particular instance, yet we can abhor the same dish at another point of time.
I just cannot come up with any reasonable explanations..
Anyway, I have sweet dreams recently. Really sweet ones. One included Felicia Chin. She gave me her contact number. I woke up exhililarated and wondering if it happened. I checked my contacts and realised that afterall, it was still a dream..
Arghhh..
Being so totally random today, I decided to end this post with a pretty chinese line.
当你每天想把一件简单的事做得好时， 它就变得不简单了。
Same thing applies to love. It is not easy doing the same old mundane stuff which seems easy, for years, for someone.
Friday nite is the mood for love.

Friday Nite is the mood for love.
Treasure what you have, and you will live with lesser regrets. Things are too uncertain; the next moment is not for us to see. Yet, some things are certain. You cannot turn the clock back, nor can you avoid death.
Therefore, I try to live a life that is either less painless, or face the world with a smile. Perhaps, everyone can start treasuring things more from now. We can be kinder to animals, more respectful towards elders, more friendly towards strangers, more dedicated towards work, more helpful towards the needy, more grateful towards your family, more loyal towards friends, and more loving towards your other half.
It just takes just only a little bit, yet it brings so much more to others' life.

Friday nite is the mood for love.
This post is overdue. However, strange reasons concocted from my little mind justify its belonging here as thoughts had long been formed for its purpose in "Fri nite is the mood for love". Like the composer who have notes popping out from nowhere and its cadence sounding to a midnight tune, I arrive here with an intent to share..
A friend recently told me one night from where she was, she could see stars filling the sky. What a beautiful sight that must have been, with so many heavenly bodies larger than the earth, yet illuminating the dark sky like tiny fireflies. From where I was, there wasn't any stars that was really obvious to me.
We all knew that it was the same sky that we were looking at, but the image was succinctly different. We were looking at the same thing, yet because of our location, our position, I am never ever going to see the sky lighted up by multitudes of stars.
Well, even if I were to be with my friend that night, watching the same image, my gaze transfixed in that particular moment, our perception of the image would probably still be different. The surreal beauty of that moment is captured in ways more complicated than its physical manifestation.
I guess that applies to human psychology. People looking at the same thing often "see" it differently. That's life. We could never really settle differences. We could only complement it.

Anyway, there is no need to be too inflexible with things. If the next step that you are going to take brings you off the cliff, just stop in your track. If there is no possibility in things, just take a step back. You will realise that you left a lot behind your trail.

There is a enlightened hokkien saying：“bo hee, heh ma hou."
And it means even if there is no fish in the offering, prawns are not a bad subsitute.
It just takes time to let the theory sinks in. Being content with what you have is one of the most important things in life. If not, you will spend so much time crying over what you do not have and leave no time for what you have.
All in the pursuit of happiness.

I guess this is the end of this post. I will really like to thank everyone for walking this path with me. New friends, old friends, I am really grateful to whoever is in my life. It has been great fun with this "Fri nite is the mood for love" too and I know most people do enjoy reading this and that motivates me to write too.
After all these posts, I guess I finally start to understand what Love really is all about.
I am a slow starter after all.

I read about following your heart or reality at tinG's blog.. It has always been boggling my heart.. or shall I say mind?
Both then.
Sometimes, one cannot just evade what reality has in store for us. If reality has been sweeter to us, we call it fate. If it is not, it is milk turned sour.
If there were no restrictions, I hope that everyone does his best and finds his real love. At the very least, he does not regret it.
However, I have to lock love up. Really.
Not just the lack of desire, but there are even more pragmatic reasons on hand.
My aunt...
Her health is getting worse. My brother is marrying soon and will have his own family. He will move out and I will be the only one to live with her. I will have to take care of her though she can manage on her own now.
With her temperament, no one can take her. For example, I was taken sick 2 days ago after camp and I am still coughing, having a runny nose and sore throat now. She scolded me that day because I did not have the appetite to eat her $4.50 dinner. I wasted her money.
But she isn't such a sour and bitter person. She just needs to loosen up.. And stop bothering too much about the household chores. She makes chores a big part of her life. I help her as much as I could because she couldn't see my point about doing only manageable tasks everyday.
As a result, I have lesser time for other appointments and friends. If I stand the risk of losing any friends, whats the point of gripping love that is not there at the first place.
And one day, if I do get married, my other half needs to be able to tolerate her.
I can't forsake her.

Loving someone is to make a person happy, right? However, love can sometimes become warped such that you end up hurting the person you love. Please do not hurt the people you love. Because you end up hurting yourself more.
For me, there is no desire for love now. I prefer to be with friends.
Maybe one day love will arrive. Who knows.
