Brain leak.

IF I really have a Doraemon, I would ask for some memory bread.

(There is actually this bread in his amazing 4-dimension bag of gadgets that allows you to copy the notes written on paper. If you eat it, you will remember whatever that is copied. Cool right?)

Buahaha.

I seriously believe my brain has holes in it. If this is not the case, then how do you explain the massive amount of memory that is leaking out every hour?

Ahhh!!

Well, I suggest installing a hard disk into my brain to store all my memory.

And one update. After a few more hours, my torment is complete.

Time.

每一段路,

都有自己的艰辛和曲折。

最直的那一段路,

并不一定是最好走的。

让,

泛黄的岁月,

牵着几千万世纪,

重复着同样的运转。

Sleep gently.

Oh, my fair lady,

are you sleeping peacefully yet?

I thought I see you twitch in your deep slumber,

yet that was only the faint shadows,

casting secrets and tales too poignant to unfold.

Now,

How I wish to hold your hands tight,

and never let it go,

but it wasnt going to be so.

Let me catch a scent of fragance in the midnight mist,

to bid a gentle goodbye.

Peace.

Oh my fair lady,

are you sleeping peacefully yet?

The kitten holds its breath in the stairway,

mindful of the dainty silence you need.

I just want peace.

Mr Miss.

Miss home cooked food. Miss opening the rice cooker and find piping hot rice as I watched the steam rise up in mists. . . .

~~~
Shuffling from one place to another is nightmarish when you feel like you are dragging an almost 70kg load against his own mighty will. Furthermore, though I do not bemoan the lack of companions, I find it pretty silly to eat alone. Therefore, the amount of food ordered is always sufficient to serve 2.
Waiting for someone to sit down with me.
Nah. This is just a joke of some sorts. Cranky and out of sorts.
....
Nurses are eye candies. Yet, you wish you are somewhere far from that dreaded place.
~~~Eye Candy No. 1.~~~~

Well..

For the mere mortals who dedicate themselves to serving the sick, that they become angels clad in white.

The top demon skill.

Getting cranky. My world is getting Topsy turvy again and my body mechanism is giving me the wrong signals.

I guess it must be due to the fact that I am attempting to attain a supreme level of a demon skill behind closed mountains and my training has gone absolutely awry. Well normal people call it the mugging season, I call it the demon skill.

Watch out for my 龟派气功 ar~~~~

~~~~
Signs of 走火入魔 (go fire, into devil)
1. Eating like I am pregnant. 2days ago, I ate a bowl of mee soto together with an entire plate of fried chicken. Yesterday, I ate duck noodles, with yam paste as dessert. I decided congee should be appetizing too. Hence, I ended yesterday's capture with congee.
And today, I ate mee goreng with a huge piece of chicken.
Pui mentioned that it has got to be the work of worms running amok in my stomach. Hmm, in that case, I better stop eatin so much, not that I can help though.
Heh heh. So I can starve all the worms to death.
2. Sleeping late.
I conclude that must be due to the negative energies accumulated in my body after training this skill. Dark rings are appearing under my eyes. If this is not a sign of me falling into the demon's way (坠入魔道), what is?
-_-
Be careful of me now.
.....
Anyway, just a cranky post. P
eeps mugging for exams, STRIVE~~~
The light is just ahead.
Nite nite~~~
What's your personality?
Should have put my time to better use instead of doing a questionnaire. Yet I love to waste my time.
You Are An ESFP
You are a natural performer and happiest when you're entertaining others.
A great friend, you are generous, fun-loving and optimistic.
You love to laugh - and you like almost all people equally.
Side story after tuition.
Side story after tuition.
After tuition, I went to a nearby coffeshop to have my dinner. There was this Chinese guy who kept on irritating me by talking to me in English despite me ordering the food in my NATIVE language already.
I am Chinese.
After 10minutes later, when my order has arrived and enjoying my food, I realised he was speaking Malay to a couple of Malay customers beside me.
Oops. I was the one who got it wrong.
Lets get on with work
I flatly refused when my Secondary one tuition kid asked me to help him do his Science homework which is due next week. Feeling shortchanged due to my refusal, this prompted him to say " What's a tuition teacher for if he cannot help with homework?" Hence, I came up with the classic story "How to teach a man to fish instead of giving him a fish". Apparently, he must have dismissed the story as a load of crap since he rebutted with a stinging sentence.
"You are just giving me the rod! You do not give a man a rod and expect him to fish without teaching him anything!!"
However, I completed a swinging reversal by throwing a few smoke bombs and grenades back, since the answers could all be found from the textbook.
"YOU are already equipped to use the rod. Then, do you expect me to take the rod and fish for you?"
He replied with an unconvincing yes, and I knew the battle was won. Though, there was still much to be fought in today's war of words.
He said that he could and would copy from his friends anyway. To which, I responded in nonchalance by concluding that I have 3 logical answers to his doubts. First, I could give him the answers. Secondly, I should try to keep on motivating him to do his work himself. Lastly, he can copy from his friends.
Well, I explained that the second one does not seem to work, which means I have 2 alternative routes to take. Between this 2, I accentuated the fact that I will rather him copy from his friends, as he will probably learn more if he copied with his minimal thinking cap on. Furthermore, if there were any mistakes, he will be able to learn from it.
Copying is an art, do not despise it and underestimate it.
However, I do not advocate it. I explain that he should seek and explore the experience of doing something through his own effort, by it joy or sorrow. It may not be wholly beneficial, yet you can't take that away. Rather, his attitude might cause him harm.
I continued by showing him an atrocious example of a University friend whom I shall not divulge
here. He was enthralled and throughly fascinated by the "escapees" of this friend. I knew I got his attention.
From there, I talked about other stuff, people and relationships, and even my own struggles with learning. There was no tuition to be done today.
It was then that he suddenly said,
"Lets get on with work."
..
Though there was only 5 minutes left, it was enough for this clever "brat" (meant as a joke) to complete one page. And at the end of the session, he reassured me that he has been inspired and he will do his work.
*smilesssss*
To me, a tuition teacher is supposed to provide that extra bit and clarify doubts which the student has trouble understanding from the school curriculum. I do not expect to really be a superman and teach a lot especially when time is a major constraint. I got only 3 hours of teaching time each week.
Instead, it will be wonderful to motivate the kid to cultivate an interest in learning and get him to study in his free time. It beats coercing, threatening and forcing the kid with countless other means to do his work when it is blatant that he is doing it with a 100% frown.
A dedication on 4th May.
Received a pleasant suprise today. =)
And it sparked me to write in to yes933 for the 2nd time. It is a dedication to all my friends and it will be aired on 4th May, hopefully. The last time I wrote in, I got an earful from my friends because I only dedicate the song to 2 of my female friends.
I got "shot" because of that. And I cannot shake off the tag of being 重色轻友. Below is a funny recording of the punishment that I received on that day for not dedicating to any of my friends. Click on the icon to listen.
Dedication part 2
This time, I am smarter. Heh heh.
Magic words.
I recently put my nick in Msn as "好开心喔". Not that I am really happy. In fact, I did not have any especially happy encounters. However, seeing my nick reassures me and makes me exhilarated and extremely happy.
There's magic in these words.
What an apt example of thoughts leading to feelings.
Whether you are happy or sad, the decision lies with you.
"好开心喔"
想念
<<小风的巧克力甜点>>
我和你都只是银河系里的小陨石,
相遇,分离,也不过一瞬间。
即使碰撞引起了火花,
那霎那间的美
也只能令人眼花缭乱。
~~~~~

到时,

就让分隔光年的思念,

变成日与夜。

如果有一天,

日能与夜相遇,

再拥抱在一起的话,

就让时间颠倒,

给我一次快乐的挥霍。

~~~
而现在,
我只能为寂寞涂上颜色,
继续忘了悲伤留下的烙印。
但是,
思念你的名字,
依然是水镜里茫茫的倒影。
Love your rice.
Reading "The Clay Marble" by Minfong Ho somehow added a reassuring glow to my life and really tugged at my heartstrings. Looking at my own plate of rice and seeing the steam rising and disappearing in the cool evening breeze takes on a wholly new sensation. A tingling sensation that I never felt before. How contented to be able to eat rice everyday. I enjoyed my rice today.
There are a few lines from the book that really made rice out to be the most delicious food in the world. And how apt it is. Adapted :"I thought about what a wonderful thing it is to eat rice. First you let the smell drift up in lazy spirals, sweet and elusive; then you look at the colour of it, softer and whiter than the surrounding steam. Carefully you put a steamful of it into your mouth, and feel each grain separate on your tongue, firm and warm."
OooOo. Never has rice been so gingerly treated and warmly thought of, at least not by me, nor most Singaporeans, I will presume. The security of a home, the stability of 3 meals, and the promise of a future, and the sense of love is mostly within reach by Singaporeans. Hence, it is small wonder that people start to be more wasteful.
Hmm.. In deep thoughts~~~Not many people get to eat rice, rice which is abundant in Singapore yet scarce in other countries living in poverty.
We really should cherish our rice more.
In addition, looking at my mum, who really wants to eat rice, yet can't, I can't help but love my rice.
~~~~

zzz. I seldom read nowadays, if not for my tuition kid who insisted on lending me this book.

GOod Friday.

Today is Good Friday.

Today is a good friday..

No school for me and that means it is a good friday!!

Haa~~~

dots....

Eh.. Feels kind of strange not to go Yishun Reading Stars, interact with the kids, listen to the long and INTERESTING talk by Yuan Juan. Guess I will miss the supper outings with the Yishun volunteers..

It's ironic that I will not be having late lectures which impede me from arriving early or even on time for Yishun. Yet there are no further sessions left.

Missing a big part of my life. I was telling SK about it today. Gone were the days when he will try to influence and persuade, cajole and entice, using his bag of tricks to tempt me to give Yishun a miss. Yet, we still end up going for it week in week out. Call that fierce passion man!

Haha! And we never once regretted it.

不然,我站在光明时,

你就躲在角落。

我们都在玩躲猫猫的游戏。

Haa. I am not in love. Not what you are thinking anyway. Nor am I getting emotional.

I am just getting a bit inspirational.

Wastrel of time.

I am a great believer of horoscopes, though I prefer to only believe those that predict I will have a good day ahead. That's human nature for you.

Well, I have my daily read of horoscopes from a free subscribed email service that provides me with a general and love horoscope.

Today's horoscope states that I need to gun down tons of work in the morning, so that I will be able to spend my rest of the evening beautifully.

Well...

Please gun me down instead. I am a wastrel of time. Maybe I should spend the time now being slightly more constructive rather than telling you how much time I am wasting just by typing all these and you reading this.

A Primary school friend.

OoooOoo. Saw a primary school friend today near my house.

A quaint twist of fate I will say it, as I did not recognise her from the start, or rather, I never had any faintest sign of recollection of her.

Recorded in "thrilling fashion" below was the whole chain of events.

~~~
Today, I was a optimistic 5m from the shelter while keeping myself dry from the afternoon rain with my trusted umbrella. There was this gal who was standing under the grateful shelter, yet to me, she seemed as if she wanted so much to walk over to the bus stop which I came from.
Being the gentleman that I was, I readily went up to her and asked if she needed me to shelter her from the uncompromising rain. It was such a gracious act, especially when the bus stop was a whopping 50m away from the shelter. Eh.. Okay.. Stop that snigger whoever is reading this. Haha.
And she replied that she actually came from the bus stop instead of wanting to go there. Oops. Silly me.
As I turned away, she was shooting me a weird look, as if I were some lao ah pek requesting for some illicit deals from her.
As usual, it was my pretty little imaginative minds exploring the wildest and most ridiculous possibilities.
And she blurted out:" You are BennY!!"
*Diaoz.*
She turns out to be my primary school friend.
~~~

Chatted with her while she was waiting for her boyfriend to come down and shelter her from the rain. Friendly banter. She was in my friendster and I did not know who she was initially. Haa. Interesting.

Awww~~ anyway that's sweet from her boyfriend. Really, the silly things that people will do for people they care about.

Haaaa!!!!!!!

A random bear post

Little bear asks the Sun:" Why do I have no friends?"

"Is it because little bear is a ugly little bear?"

"No" replies the Sun.

"Is it because little bear is dull and brown?"

"No" replies the Sun.

"Is it because little bear is stupid?"

"No" replies the Sun.

"Then why???" little bear sobs..

"Do not keep a sad face, little bear. Love yourself for what you are. You keep on having a sad face, ghost see also will run away laa~~"

*smiles* little bear. =)
