“Its the students who make a difference, not the teachers."
“Its the students who make a difference, not the teachers."
虽然我还资历尚浅,
难免会犯错。
可是每一步踏错,都是学习的最好基础。
:)
希望我能持续下去,
贯彻我心目中的教育。
The first present I ever received from a class. ^^

Scatterbrain
I am a scatterbrain, scatterbrain, scatterbrain..~~ lalala!!!
I am a.. eh.. so what's that again?
* Brain scattered over the place*
... -_-
Well, I almost lost my portable hard disk yesterday because I left it at one of the computer terminals in NUS's engineering computer cluster at 11pm yesterday. I got almost crazy when I realised that it WASN"T around when I reached home.
I was about to pluck all my hair out, one by one. I had the crazy resolution to stay awake till the very next day so that I can rush to school when the computer cluster is open for the day. I succumbed to the zzz monster's temptation at 330am. And I missed my alarm at 5am.
I only got to school at 930am but my beloved hard disk is still there!! Yeah! I wanna kiss all my friends to death for making my reunion possible! If not, I really need to pluck out all my hair, one by one. All my data was inside, especially FYP data and I didnt back up.
~~~^^
Like what Kkk says, I can't put all my eggs in one basket. What if they hatched, and all fly away?
~~我的青春小鸟一去不回来~~
。。。
I guess someone up there is really watching over me.. I almost lost my wallet twice, and adding this to my series of scatterbrain mishaps, I am third time lucky. *phew* Of cause I know I can't be that lucky all the time, so I must be steady next time.
awww...anyway, muz definitely thank my mei for being so concerned. *kiss u to death* lol.
Byes.
3 Lamers
Lab soon passed and Sk, Daniel and me was soon on the way out of the door with a breath of relief. Daniel was walking in front with Sk beside him as I tagged behind them. Such was the order which prompted me to spew some lameities (lame plus vulgarities) when he addressed me as 阳光男孩 again.
I responded well by saying:"Oh. Then you must be 风雨."
This drew a incredulous huh from both of them.
Then I started singing Mavis Hee's song, "阳光总在风雨后"~~~
Daniel almost wanted to throw me down the stairs.
-_-''
Anyway, during lunch, Daniel asked us a few lame questions and I thought one was rather nice. Hence, let me share it with all of you. He must have been influenced by the air of lameness surrounding him.
遇到台风时, 没有多少钱,别出门?
答案: 四千万。 没有事千万 (四千万) 别出门.
~~ I swore Singapore river started to freeze. ~~
.. Many moments later while on a flight of stairs.
We said that Sk is actually 彩虹.
Again.... *drum rolls*
~~~阳光总在风雨后,请相信有彩虹~~~
If it was a comic strip, 3 of us will have fallen off the stairs.
LOLLLLLLLXX
ps: Erm, sorry if you can't catch the joke because you are not living in my generation.
Butter and Jam.
The contents in this post is gonna be lame.
Yesterday, I was a wee bit late for lab. 5 minutes later than the stipulated timing at 9am because I was a little tardy in shifting myself out of the computer seat as Fluff in Facebook got my eyes transfixed on the computer screen with my "butter plated" bread Well, it wasn't being irresponsible. I thought I really had enough time to get to school and grab a bite if I want to, but I forgot to factor in waiting time and traffic time as it was 815am and the traffic at AYE is going to be heavy from Queenstown to NUS.
Sk called to ask while I was on the way to see if I had reached because he had reached much earlier than expected. A strange move from a usually late guy. Well, I wasn't any better. Guess that is a common trait in most Librans where procrastination rule supreme. Anyway, I was still at the bus stop at that time waiting for the relentless hot sun to melt me down. It was therefore fitting and a stroke of genius from me to be putting on a Singlet.
When I got on to the bus, I realised I will be late using my six sense which tells me that 5 minutes till 9am isn't sufficient to reach Nus when the distance is at least 10minutes away. Hence, I smsed Sk to say that there is a lot of jam and if only I had eaten bread with jam instead of butter so there will be no jam.
"Faintz", coming from him..

Speech problems.
During engine professionalism tutorial today, I gave some comments in the class and it was necessary to pronounce the word below.
Utilitarianism
And I stammered.
"u ti ti li ran ism"
I tried pronouncing it again and I failed. Hence I skipped that word. However, I came to that word again after a few more lines and I fussed over that word like it was saying "I love you".
u ti li li rain ism.
Everyone had a good laugh including me.
~~~shy ma~~~
I am also very conscious of the word "twelve" too.
Get me to pronounce twelve and I give you warped versions.
"chelve, telve, thelve ..."
However, kindly refrain from getting me to perform in front of you like you will to a circus monkey.
I am not a MONKEY!
Actually, people prefer to call me 黑猩猩 (gorilla).
LOL!
CHANGE ME
.. In the end, I missed probably 2 buses though I was out early. Answering nature's call outside the comfort of home was 2nd nature by now. When I was finally out to cross the road, the bus came and went.
And for 3 consecutive days, I am left chasing after the fumes left by the backside of the bus. Trust me to be fuming. I could only reach school on time. And I guess my academic year's new resolution to be early for school is eluding and corroding fast.
.. I realise that finding stuff to blog is easier when I venture into unfamiliar grounds. I went to the library for research today morning, which is pretty uncharacteristic of me. Some guy was roller skating and grinning from ear to ear. It must be his antics. Nice transportation there.
Perhaps tomorrow I will find someone on stilts. I suggest peddling to school on those single wheels which you often see monkeys performing. I do not know that is called though. Make Nus a circus.
~~~~
And I had the chance to try the newly renovated Arts canteen this week. Finally! It is always packed. Opinion? The quality is still the same, and that means Engine is still my highest rated canteen! LOL! Ooh. By the way, I ate my anything mee (everything also have a bit) at my favourite "water leg mee" stall at Science today. (only chinese understand).
LOL~~~~!!!
Talking crap again. CHANGE ME!

A Primary school friend.
A quaint twist of fate I will say it, as I did not recognise her from the start, or rather, I never had any faintest sign of recollection of her.
Recorded in "thrilling fashion" below was the whole chain of events.
~~~
Today, I was a optimistic 5m from the shelter while keeping myself dry from the afternoon rain with my trusted umbrella. There was this gal who was standing under the grateful shelter, yet to me, she seemed as if she wanted so much to walk over to the bus stop which I came from.
Being the gentleman that I was, I readily went up to her and asked if she needed me to shelter her from the uncompromising rain. It was such a gracious act, especially when the bus stop was a whopping 50m away from the shelter. Eh.. Okay.. Stop that snigger whoever is reading this. Haha.
And she replied that she actually came from the bus stop instead of wanting to go there. Oops. Silly me.
As I turned away, she was shooting me a weird look, as if I were some lao ah pek requesting for some illicit deals from her.
As usual, it was my pretty little imaginative minds exploring the wildest and most ridiculous possibilities.
And she blurted out:" You are BennY!!"
*Diaoz.*
She turns out to be my primary school friend.
~~~
Chatted with her while she was waiting for her boyfriend to come down and shelter her from the rain. Friendly banter. She was in my friendster and I did not know who she was initially. Haa. Interesting.
Awww~~ anyway that's sweet from her boyfriend. Really, the silly things that people will do for people they care about.
Haaaa!!!!!!!

The little angel.
This is the word that correctly expresses my feelings when I go to Yishun Reading Stars as a volunteer every Friday night.
Really find myself being less motivated this semester to go there. Tons of work, a hectic Friday schedule and most importantly, my brethren are slowly disappearing from the Yishun scene.
However, I shall continue.
The love factor is compelling. I go there for my kid, Wee Chou. He's a really cute kid. You almost cant see his eyes when he breaks into a wide grin. Good natured and rather helpful too.
I remembered the 4th session when I asked him whether he feels that he has behaved well during the particular session or not. He replied sheepishly that he hasn't really. Yet, he promised that he will behave better the coming session.
In addition, he actually remembered the 5 basic rules when hinted. (Be attentive, ask for permission, take turns, be polite, raise your hand)
*Touched*
Though the improvements are not drastic the coming session, he did relatively well. He helped to carry the chairs used for the reading session back to where it belongs and then come back to me with his usual cheery grin.
Tears rolled down my eyes. Eh. Joking.
Though he has faults, his goodness I see far surpasses the little glitches. And Mabel commented the last session that Wee Chou loves me. Yeah.
*Flies up to the sky*
...
At the end of the previous session, I asked my kid how many stars he deserve. He conceded he only deserve one. Well, true. He knew himself. He wasn't behaving. So I gave him only one. Still, his smile never fades.
One thing I absolutely adore about him is that he never argues for more and is happy go lucky. Easily contented? Ya. He never lets his disappointment gets the better of him. And at that time, Xiqian, who was sitting in front, turned back and asked for a pen from me. Wee Chou immediately took out one to lend him.
That deserved another star and I promptly applauded and rewarded him for his nice gesture. Tell me. How can I not like him?
That made him break into a wider grin.
Hee ^^

Busy snaking now.
I find it hard to keep pace with everything. My regular runs have all gone irregular, and sobs to the abysmal gaming time squeezed dry from my crazy schedule. Even soccer has managed to elude my life. I question my passion sometimes, but it is clear that I never once seek a new love in place of soccer. I do suppose I want to breathe soccer again. And often.
Hence, I tell myself it is only a matter of time before I fine tune things, even though being a juggler in the circus of life is never my strong point. Things do fall out of my control, as they fly off the radar and get scattered in some wonderland. Picking up the pieces is not easy, but I do relish the opportunity to brush up my rusty time-management skills.
In addition, I seem to have no time for friends. Maybe it is due to my blood running cold. Missing all my friends out there, some whom I havent been in contact for a few months. I need to get a new gear for my stuttering engine and some blood transplant before my status as a mammal becomes incredibly dubious. Bah. If I do not reply to some of u people's sms, most probably I forgot. Stunned with my short term memory too. Maybe, I did not bother?
Aiyah. Crap again. At least I got myself a new 3 min fetish during this hell period. Immensing myself in Korean songs, mainly due to the show "The Classic". I am practically swooning over 2 particular korean songs from the marvellous show. "I to you, you to me" and "Sarang Ha Myun Ha." Hee. Expanding the variety of songs that I have been indulging in is rather refreshing. Hearing other languages other than Mandarin has a calming effect on my frayed nerves somehow.
Er. Nothing much to do with the language ba. Its the music itself. HAHAHA.
Woo~~ off to zzz. Today's considered early. haa. Wish me sweet dreams. I wanna dream of Song Ye-jin!!!!!

Paying off a sleeping debt in a sleepy lecture.
Paying attention in a lecture is never easy.

On my way to punctuality.
Reason being - I brought my brother's laptop to the service centre for repair as there was some problem with it and he needed it urgently. He will be flying off to England for 2 months due to work in approximately 5-6 hours time from now. And he required the laptop.
Anyway, a few mishaps going into the new semester do not fairly indicate my willingness and determination to remove the "late" tag.
One fine day, I will become Mr Punctual. Make sure your jaws do not fall off.
However, I am not really helping myself now, especially when I am blogging at this ungodly hour and my lessons will be starting at 8am. I cannot promise myself that I will respond to the incessant ringing later on when dawn breaks.
zzz..
Au revoir.

Mad post.
There were 9 of us, Ah jun, ah chua, Sk, xiong, Haowen, Kang Wei, Yi Wei, Pui, including me. As pui was the only female among the towering male companions, it was natural that she was going to be bullied by us. Along the way, we got her a new found "stead", called K-哥. Oooh. A couple of hours with us and she managed to have a scandal courtesy of Ah jun's blabbering mouth. But we weren't blaming him. In fact, it was a real talking point and the joke of the night.
Hee. Another major highlight was going to the arcade and play. Ah jun, Sk, Haowen and me partnered together in the soccer game which required us to kick a reel ball to pass and shoot. It was absolutely hilarious. Whenever the com keeper gets hold of the ball, we would gather around and attempt to slide in and gain possession of the ball, so that we can take advantage of the confusion and put the ball into the net.
Damn. Italy (our team) lost to Spain in the final. 4-3.
WHEEE!!!
A tiring day. And I was complaining that my legs are fatigued.As usual, I cracked a super lame joke.
"Must be the chicken wings we ate earlier."
The response was a incredulous huh.
"cuz of the lime juice we squeezed over the wings. 脚酸,你知道吗? "
Diaozz.
.
.
.
Finally the hols. 我想死你了 loh!!!
Wahaha.
I have so many plans, yet too little time for all. I wish to sing everyday till the glass in my house all shatters (madness), I want to do yoga till I can put my legs on top of my head yet float on mid-air, which is impossible. (crazy laughter)
In addition, I want to play soccer till the ball suddenly explode till to sustained pressure and draw till there is no win or lose (waa lame).
Anyway, I got a lot of ongoing plans to keep me super hectic. I have a kids camp, a chalet and the guys are planning a short trip to KL too. Hope to meet up with as many friends as possible this december.
All right. Off to hone my winning eleven skills now.
BYEBYE!!!

Try and shoot me!!!
Actually, that is exaggerating again. But today's a fine record for me. First time in my nus history that I ever finish an exam with 20 more minutes to go. I do not dare to say that I did well for the paper because the blatant fact is I DID not. However, as I start to doze off, there are still so many people writing. I am good.
Shoot me. I got an attitude problem.
Haha.
Now to start my engine revving again in preparation for my cup of tea, Thermodynamics. An A is in my pockets.
Darn it. Shoot me!!!!
*bangs* A shot is heard.
blood everywhere....
Morale of the story
The above teaches us to be diligent and humble at all times. Especially during the exam period, one should be blogging less often. LET the results do all the talking instead. Btw, when I say an A is in my pockets, my pockets most probably have holes. LOL.
*bangs*
A shot is heard from afar yet again.

Swings and a new fren.
Well, on the way home after the musical, mi and Hannah proceeded to the bus stop opp engine LT7a to take 33. While waiting to cross the road, i realised that a Chinese couple who was already waiting for the green man never pressed the button. *Irks*. So preoccupied with their talking hurr? Haizz. have to press myself lo. And what irritated mi even more is that the 3min wait over at the traffic light caused mi and hann to miss one 33 bus. ArgHH!! I wanted to rant at them!!! Well the ranting only became a figment of my imagination. Haha.
Ok. another 33 came after a wait of 15 min which wasnt too bad considering its infrequent frequency. And guess who i saw on the bus?? Haa it was the running gal who enabled me to win the bet. I ended up taking a seat on the left of the bus with hann and the gal was sitting directly opposite me. Actually hor i wasnt really sure if she was the gal so i never paid much attention to her throughout the whole bus journey.
Me and hann alighted at dawson place where she can change to either 51 or 186. Well as fate would decreed it, the gal got off at the same stop. Pure concidence or issit the magic of my horoscope ( rmbed that i got good luck with the opp sex for last week) ? I guess both is at work..
I waited with hann till she got on to her bus.. And the gal was still there, waiting for her bus. Hmm i stole her a glance when i was about to leave to confirm if she was really the gal and she looked back, but she doesnt seem to recognise mi. So with a tinge of disappointment, i walked off.
Hur hur. However, i made a u turn after some distance away, convincing myself that i still had 30min before my good luck ends (it was 1130pm). I was pretty sure she must be the gal. Therefore I went back and she was still there.
Hee she is really the joggin gal.

THE CAGE
Anyway, the most entertaining part of the competition is the women's tournament. Woa, look at all the svelte babes in jerseys galore. Yeah. . . Haha dun mistake me for a pervert, even thou i unmistakenly is. . . =p. Some of dem are realli good. Perhaps i should start a women's league. it would be definitely lucrative given the amount of supporters that are present. And somehow the idea of women playing the beautiful games thrills the guys. Yepxx, the beautiful game should be played by gals, cuz some probably have to agree that the fairer sex personifies the more beautiful of the 2 sexes. A lot of guys would attest to that too!!
A few gals make it to my inaugural hall of fame for the tournament. The ranking is not in order. But i got my fav player.
the 1st one is weiqun’s cousin. Oh she’s one hot babe that pull no punches. The captain of her team, she is very verbal and organizes her team’s play.
2nd one is zidane. Made a mistake in the original post by quoting that she's in the same team as weiqun’s cousin. Thanks to Henry and NHSS 2E4 for pointing out the mistake here. She has wonderful balance. Haha juz like zidane. Perhaps she’s a ballerina??
3rd one is No2. she’s one big woman. Remember a incident where she fell down and she pulled her opponent down wif her. Its really comical.
4th one is JAS. Jas is a sweet looking gal who has great ball control. Her movements are sleek and graceful. And she can bamboozle the whole defence with her dribbling. Scored a hat trick in one match.
And my last on the list, and the one I like most is Debbie!! Yes its her again. if u dunno who is she, take a look from the link under my frenz's blogs in 2E4 black book. It can be found under the just for laughs section in file 001 tittled "Who's Debbie?" Played soccer wif her bf at nus and shes realli good. This sweet and petite lass can execute a loopin volley with perfect ease and technique and she got close ball control too. Debbie Debbie Debbie!! 3 cheers for her. Lookin foward to play soccer with her again if my team got the chance.

Welcome to the stars in my eyes
Entrusted wif the task of accompanying john, who is probably the most difficult to handle among all the other children. He wasnt naughty, he wasnt noisy, he wasnt really even quiet. He juz happens to live in his own world, one where no one exists, except his wonderful world of wonderbros and his passion for drawing. WHY wonderbros? i dunno. I guess he may be enchanted by the colurful shows, the interesting animations or something else? anyway, He wun even look at u, he wun even respond to u if u talk to him. juz give him a pen and paper and he would be totally engrossed and be drawn into his own fantasy world.
HE's got a knack for drawing. i think he's juz 6 or 7 if i am not wrong. and the things he can draw is amazing for his age!!! this particular session, he was drawing the logo of wonderbros. U can see how observant he was wif the details as he can remember the words on the logo and including the tm that followed wif it. (if u dunno wat the logo looks like, u probably dun live on earth. but i welcome martians or other aliens anyway). And he was a perfectionist. he would stop drawing every now and then to view his work, using both outstretched hands to hold his picture like an experienced artist. then he would add in the most intricate and delicate details till he was satisfied wif it. Being such a perfectionist, he drew 3 of the same drawings until the last one where he smiled to the picture wif an unaffected grin. He was obviously pleased wif his work.
Haizz, for all his talent, he was juz too withdrawn and altruistic. but he's gradually improving. wat heartens all the volunteers over at wonderkids is seeing that the kids are showing signs of improvement. IT may be litte, but we can still see the glitter. THey would always seem affable to me, even john too...
would like to end this post wif wat john wrote when i told him to write something on the whiteboard. wat he wrote led me to deeper thots too. "Welcome to the stars in your eyes".
Can u see the gliiter or sadness in my eyes even tho my words come out dead?
MOod: still convalescing. .

To compromise. .
Hmmmm. . . long period since i really antagonise someone liao. Dun really noe whether saying sorry first still works anot. Have been advised by pple not to be too compromising since primary sch cuz pple normally juz take u for granted if u are too nice to dem.er. . . its all about drawing the line la.
