承诺真的不如沉默吗？？
hmmm..

好具有震撼力，
却充满
负面教育性噢。
呵。。
承诺有时候像沉重的枷锁，
也时常被利用。。
倒不如保持沉默吧。
毕竟沉默是金嘛。。
是的。
承诺倒不如沉默。
要说得出，
做得到，
就一定要有“大侠的风范”。
只有大侠才能背负着压迫的使命感~
但是，
如果清楚的了解到所背负的风险，
还能奋不顾身地
说出承诺的话，
请便吧。
这世界需要多一点这样的人。

无聊透顶
昨晚跟xiaolulu在esplanade烂的时候，我就跟她谈论到我以前曾经写过的一个blog post。。
那是一个英语写的。。
我写到："
HEEYYY!~~!!
Let me kill one more monster before I leave this game.
Oh dear oh dear. His level is freakishly high. Level 1000.
In the end, I am left with HP: 0.
I am killed by the zzz monster.
I guess no one really beats the zzz monster forever. The only reward is panda eyes even if u KO-ed him for a while.
Which makes me wonder why I am still here.
I am leaving this game now.
This game, I called it reality.
I am playing "Sweet Dreams" next.
Goodnight.
Let me kill one more monster before I leave this game.
Oh dear oh dear. His level is freakishly high. Level 1000.
In the end, I am left with HP: 0.
I am killed by the zzz monster.
I guess no one really beats the zzz monster forever. The only reward is panda eyes even if u KO-ed him for a while.
Which makes me wonder why I am still here.
I am leaving this game now.

Sometimes, someone..
Sometimes, someone say something, or do something deemed so inconsequential that they will forget in an instant, but it leaves a lasting impression on you.
It may just change your life forever.
Many years back, there was this incident that I could only remember after Buddy jolted my memory, but which remained etched in hers.
We boarded a bus in the late afternoon. As it was not peak hours yet, we managed to find 2 seats side by side. As she was about to take the window seat, I stopped her because the hot afternoon sun was shining in and i did not want her to be under the sun. So I took that window seat.
It was really nothing.. But she remembered it as a sweet thing that I have done for her. I must have been quite "bland" most of the time. LOL..
..
^^ That's why I love the afternoon sun. Afternoon sunshine. Fun.

There was this other incident which left an impression on me. I was spreading butter at Cafe Cartel (where you can get plenty of bread) when Jun commented on how nicely I am able to spread the butter!
It is always innocuous comments like this that strikes the chord of someone's hearts.
They are there to stay, not just "hi" and "goodbye".
LOL. Nowadays I pretty pride myself on spreading the butter and it comes as no surprise if I offer to spread it for u!
HHAHAHAHAHAHAA By the way I just ate 4 slices of bread. Not many considering I eat 7 slices for breakfast.

Bacteria and your Pomegranates.
I feel that I ought to work on crazy and complex equations so that I might one day, solve an universal problem and end up winning a Nobel Prize. But I get stuck in an infinite loop of my own, as I struggle to negotiate my own identity.
I now entertain the thought of being the bacteria of a bacteria. NANANA~
Interaction with your own species at the most innate level requires the highest level of complexity. You really need bazookas, grenades and an indestructible amour to fend off the lies that are going to be aimed at you with ruthless efficiency.
Bla bla bla.
Anyway, I heard this during Dinner with Cokty yesterday. Walter was the story teller.

SUPERMAN
A wonderful good morning to all~
I woke up at 630am today, at my own accord. I am simply surprised at the wonders that sleeping early can do to my body- I am feeling like SUPERMAN.
Actually, I forced myself to sleep early yesterday, mainly to sleep off the pain that I had inflicted voluntarily to my own body- Extraction of 2 wisdom tooth. The "sleep order" that I had issued to my body was read with contempt and laughed off at 10pm yesterday, because it was uncharacteristic for me to sleep so early.
I managed to fall asleep only after 1230am. But that's enough for me to feel like.. superman~~
I had to admit, yesterday was really an ordeal for me. Blood kept oozing out from the wounds, not withstanding the pain that I had to endure. I could not even say "ouch" because it was really hard to open my mouth. It was then that I realise that saying "ouch" is not a right, it is only a privilege. How many people in the world can raise their voices when they are unhappy about something? Not many. The vast majority can only whine in solitude, drowned by the voices of the society. They are only puppets in their making of their own destiny. But lets not digress too much. Back here.
Today, now. THIS very moment. The pain now is only a niggling reminder of a greater physical sensation yesterday. No swelling, which means Tony Leung remained as Tony Leung, Andy Lau is still Andy Lau, and most importantly, I am still me. Of cause this sounds stupid, but I am.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.. Anyway..
"Hey, ain't I very powerful, feeling like superman!"
I told myself, at the same time digging my nose with utmost ferocity and vigour.

OOps. I was just imagining the part about digging my nose, as I got this little piece of inspiration from 九把刀
He's not just a normal author, but a fantastic storyteller. More about how this stories touched me next time, and not to mention his nose digging accounts.

Proj Can, and MSN.
I popped the below line out like popping popcorn yesterday after proj can. I got the inspiration from Chua, and blueberry.

..It is those sort of lines that some people like to put in MSN as their nick. Totally ridiculous.

Well, I can't really remember what I did in Project Can, because there wasn't much can collection on Saturday. IT was so much like MSN.
Most houses that we went to are in "away" mode, where no one is around. Some probably is in "out to lunch" mode.
Then some are practically on "busy" mode. Nudging wasn't even of help.
There was this unit which was blasting some Chinese Oldies. I pressed the door bell a few times, until I heard someone scowling in the house and saying something which I could not make out. But I presumed what is said was pretty unkind.
There was another unit where the owner who seemed to be in her 30s told me she would go and ask her mum if there was any canned food. Then she closed the door. (Be right back mode)
Therefore I waited behind the door. Waited. I waited. I waited till all the cows practically came home. I figured something smell fishy. Therefore, I pressed the doorbell several times, but *poof. You might have thought that person who opened the door at first wasn't real. She went to "offline" mode.
HOWEVER, there are some "ONLINE" ones who gave generously too. Donated stuff like Canned abalones, buddha jumps over the walls are awesome. Other stuff like condensed milk, which might be cheaper tenfold, but they speak of sincerity.
Awwws.. Anyway, I am gg "sign out" real soon.

The right feeling.
Nothing spectacular today.
It is an ordinary day; mundane.
I went to teach tuition in the afternoon and I immediately rushed off for fico soccer the moment I stepped home, stuffing dinner in my mouth.
Full stop..
HOWEVER..
I need to make a point after 6 uninteresting lines into this weary post.
Every tuition session without fail, my tuition kid would always coerce me to get a girlfriend, his motive I have no answer to.
Today is ridiculous. He wanted me to get one by November, a deadline he set for me without my consent.
Hmmm. Ok. I am open for relationship talks. Please take a queue number.
LOL.
ok.

I know that isn't funny.
I need to have the right "feeling", so it isn't any normal baozi that I want. It must be the correct bao. (feeling = filling), and no mantou because they have no feeling.
Yeah. orh. so only baos need apply. (*bishhhhhhh)

Home alone.
I am so used to being alone now that it startles me. I have never been an antisocial freak or a hermit but circumstances state otherwise sometimes.
Alone at home with no one to speak to. I could have played with echoes but I weren't that bored. Perhaps I should shout to the 4 walls " Hey, you are handsome" and wait for the honest return.

Hand Chicken
Who wants to eat hand chicken??
This was spotted at my nearby hawker centre at Margaret Drive Blk 40. If you do not know Chinese, the chinese words for handphone, "手机" was written wrongly as "手鸡". 鸡 means chicken. Haha. Perhaps that was to cater to the pretty famous chicken rice stall at the hawker centre. It was not hard to guess I had chicken rice for lunch that day too.

Our universe.
The universe is a mysterious place to be in. Despite the sheer size of heavenly bodies and galaxies, they only account for about 10% of the size of the entire universe. Dark matter occupies a large part of the universe. Like the universe, dark matter is mysterious too.
Let us look at the wonderful pictures of the universe below.
...Well, I wanted to find a few pictures of the universe and I ended with Miss Universe. Not what I wanted, but lets enjoy it while it lasts.
The Milky Way-Atlas of the Universe.
Dispelling notions that everything was revolving around the Earth, we now know that Earth is just but one little planet in the solar system. And that is only a small part of the Milky Way. Furthermore, the Milky way is only one out of billions or even trillions of galaxies in the universe. How do u feel to be a speck of a speck of a speck then??
Speaking of the Milky way, our nearest neighbour is the Andromeda galaxy M31. It is a certainty that one day, both galaxies are going to collide against each other, as they move towards each other at a speed of hundreds of kilometres every second under the influence of gravity. Despite this, other galaxies are getting further from us.
What explains this phenonemon? This is due to the expanding space in the universe. Space is constantly expanding and things get further from us even with the influence of gravity. M31 exhibits the opposite due to its proximity and hence the space between us expands lesser than the rate at which both attracts. Cool, but pretty advanced stuff.

Strange Thoughts
Perhaps, the self is like the universe. Our hearts gets attacted to one another when the "distance" between them are close enough to invoke the influence of gravity. However, if they started too far away, or get too distant, they start to shy away from another as the space and distance between hearts always get further and further.
This is due to the concept of constant change and randomness that will always be present. People often change due to their experience and if 2 people have the same experience, they should be able to shake off some of the randomess as the same experience should shape them similarly. However, no 2 people can ever have the same experience. The space between them will still get further, but the attraction is greater in this case than the expanding distance.
Thus some people get closer to you. While others just shrink away. Its the universe.
... Anyway, I am spouting rubbish for the last part already. I am tired.
I shall end it with a picture of an alien dog then. Perhaps, we will find intelligent life living in other planets one day.

LOL. Thank you Mr Jay.
After a few drinks with my brother and his friends, we decided that it was time to snug comfortably in bed and we headed for home. A friend drove us back.
However, if you think this is a continual of the previous post, you will be grossly disappointed.
This is just a lame post.

I was in the mood for plenty of lame jokes and I put on my lame thinking cap. Jay Chou was my inspiration. I remembered him due to his concert today.
We were in the car when we drove past a police post.
Me :" What if I suddenly went into a police post now and started pleading guilty??
"Dear mr constable, I am so so so guilty. Look, I walked like Mr Jay Chou a couple of times today."
-_-''' Jaywalked.....
One added:"THe policeman might just take out his baton n beat you for ur lameness."
I replied:" Since the police post is 24 hours, I will then say I am born in the year of the goat.
警察局24 小时不 打烊(beat goat)。
Gosh.. I think if I really do that, the policeman will really break my legs.
LOL. Then I am truly lame.

The small triangular box in the picture is one of hardest to make. Crease and unfold, crease and unfold. .
Sometimes the simplest looking ones are the most laborious. As the saying goes, one cannot judge by appearances. You really need to understand the processes before you can get a clearer picture. Which explains why the picture is so blur.

Origami made yesterday. Chopsticks was from Tricia and had nothing to do with the origami though. I just include it in the picture because I thought it seemed congruent with the origami.

Ten point star. As the name suggests, 10 pieces are required. However, it is easy to fold except that it is a bit tedious.

Slender star! gosh it is harder than the picture suggests. Took a sickening 30minutes to try to make a more slender star BUT I failed.

The small triangular box in the picture is one of hardest to make. Crease and unfold, crease and unfold. .
Sometimes the simplest looking ones are the most laborious. As the saying goes, one cannot judge by appearances. You really need to understand the processes before you can get a clearer picture. Which explains why the picture is so blur.

Sniff sniff.
My nose is making weird noises. Sniff sniff. I am lucky there wasn't any glue around.
And.. It is certainly behaving like a rusty 23 year engine.. Grrr..
If only my nose was my mouth. At least I could have gotten it to shut up. *Foul Mouth*
I do not need a feng shui master, a fortune teller, a psychic with supernatural powers or the greatest mathematician to work out a most complex equation following the strangest looking algorithm to know the answer.
I am sick.
Let's stop this before I take a blade and fight it out with my own nose. ( Ha Du Ken from Mr Nose in the background)

3 Lamers
Wearing a Singlet drew lame comments from Daniel during Lab yesterday. He kept on saying that I am 阳光男孩. It did not really bother me. In fact I played along with it.
Lab soon passed and Sk, Daniel and me was soon on the way out of the door with a breath of relief. Daniel was walking in front with Sk beside him as I tagged behind them. Such was the order which prompted me to spew some lameities (lame plus vulgarities) when he addressed me as 阳光男孩 again.
I responded well by saying:"Oh. Then you must be 风雨."
This drew a incredulous huh from both of them.
Then I started singing Mavis Hee's song, "阳光总在风雨后"~~~
Daniel almost wanted to throw me down the stairs.

Anyway, during lunch, Daniel asked us a few lame questions and I thought one was rather nice. Hence, let me share it with all of you. He must have been influenced by the air of lameness surrounding him.
遇到台风时， 没有多少钱,别出门？
答案： 四千万。 没有事千万 (四千万) 别出门.
~~ I swore Singapore river started to freeze. ~~
.. Many moments later while on a flight of stairs.
We said that Sk is actually 彩虹.
Again.... *drum rolls*

If it was a comic strip, 3 of us will have fallen off the stairs.

The contents in this post is gonna be lame.
Yesterday, I was a wee bit late for lab. 5 minutes later than the stipulated timing at 9am because I was a little tardy in shifting myself out of the computer seat as Fluff in Facebook got my eyes transfixed on the computer screen with my "butter plated" bread Well, it wasn't being irresponsible. I thought I really had enough time to get to school and grab a bite if I want to, but I forgot to factor in waiting time and traffic time as it was 815am and the traffic at AYE is going to be heavy from Queenstown to NUS.
Sk called to ask while I was on the way to see if I had reached because he had reached much earlier than expected. A strange move from a usually late guy. Well, I wasn't any better. Guess that is a common trait in most Librans where procrastination rule supreme. Anyway, I was still at the bus stop at that time waiting for the relentless hot sun to melt me down. It was therefore fitting and a stroke of genius from me to be putting on a Singlet.
When I got on to the bus, I realised I will be late using my six sense which tells me that 5 minutes till 9am isn't sufficient to reach Nus when the distance is at least 10minutes away. Hence, I smsed Sk to say that there is a lot of jam and if only I had eaten bread with jam instead of butter so there will be no jam.
